Intense Discussions in the Judicial System: 'Zhoghovurd'

The newspaper 'Zhoghovurd' reports that on November 7, another General Assembly of Judges will take place, during which a non-judge member of the Ethics and Disciplinary Issues Commission will be elected.

According to paragraph 9 of Article 77 of the Judicial Code, in order to involve candidates specified in paragraph 8 of the same article, the Judicial Department announces a competition at least thirty days before the selection of non-judge members of the Ethics and Disciplinary Commission. Organizations that meet the criteria set by the Supreme Judicial Council can nominate one candidate each.

The biographies of the candidates and information about the organizations they represent are published on the official website of the judiciary. Meanwhile, as candidates prepare, intense discussions in the judicial system have begun regarding the candidates, with some having no background in the judicial system and lacking knowledge of the field. Additionally, some candidates have reportedly started receiving calls asking, 'Hey brother, he's our relative, please choose him to pass through.'
