European Union Allocates 5 Million Euros to Armenia
The European Commission will provide Armenia with 5 million euros aimed at strengthening nuclear safety and radiation protection systems. The draft financing agreement has been approved by the Armenian government.
The initiative includes two main directions: enhancing the safety level of the Armenian nuclear power plant and developing the capacities of nuclear safety regulatory bodies. Support will also be provided to the "Nuclear and Radiation Safety Scientific and Technical Center."
The program aims to contribute to the improvement of management and control systems in Armenia's nuclear sector to ensure sustainable and safe development in line with international standards.
