Vardan Ghukasyan's Relative Gevorg Ghukasyan Resigns from Council Mandate

The grandson of Gyumri's mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, Gevorg Ghukasyan, who is currently in custody, has resigned from his position as a member of the Gyumri City Council. This information has been confirmed by the Gyumri municipality.

It is worth noting that Gevorg Ghukasyan was detained and arrested on the same day that investigative actions were being carried out at the Gyumri municipality. In the framework of the same criminal case, Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan and two other members of the city council's Communist Party faction have also been detained. Gevorg Ghukasyan is one of them.
