The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, has announced that he met with Pope Francis and requested support for his country's initiatives aimed at establishing peace in Ukraine. He shared this information on Facebook, publishing photos from the meeting.

“There is an anti-war network in the world, whose spiritual center is the Holy Father. Today, I asked His Holiness to ensure that the Vatican continues to support Hungary's peacekeeping efforts,” Orbán wrote.

It is noted that as part of the Hungarian Prime Minister's visit, a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is also planned to discuss European security and regional policy issues.
