What Putin and Aliyev Discussed

According to a statement from the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The leaders of the two countries discussed current issues on the agenda, continuing the themes of their meeting in Dushanbe.

Putin and Aliyev reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further developing trade-economic ties and implementing joint projects in the fields of energy and transport-logistics. During the conversation, the heads of state also addressed various aspects of regional cooperation and the international situation.

The parties agreed to continue communications at various levels.
