Mass Deportations Expected in the US: Nearly 600,000 Immigrants to Leave the Country by Year-End
According to a decision by the Trump administration, the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) plans to deport more than 600,000 illegal immigrants by the end of 2025. ICE Director Tom Homan stated this during his speech at Axios's "Future of Defense" summit.
Homan emphasized that those residing illegally in the United States will not remain unnoticed, saying, "If we find you, we will arrest you." He pointed out that around 70% of those arrested by ICE are classified as criminals, while the remaining 30-35% are individuals who, although not facing criminal charges, are considered potential threats to national security.
