Yerevan and Any Administrative Territory of Armenia Has Never Been Left Unattended, Says Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs to Opposition MP
Yesterday, there were numerous police forces in Gyumri. At the same time, an activist who was being assaulted in Yerevan called the police, only to find out that there were no officers available. This was the question raised by opposition MP Agnessa Khanoyan to the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs in the National Assembly.
"The city of Yerevan was left unattended yesterday because the political authority had a political issue to resolve in Gyumri," said the opposition MP.
In response, Deputy Minister Armen Mkrtchyan asserted, "Yerevan and any administrative territory of the Republic of Armenia has never been left unattended by the police," he stated.
