MP Sona Ghazaryan from the Civil Contract faction of the National Assembly has made a post on her Facebook page addressing the events and arrests taking place in the Shiraz community, as well as the published recordings.

"It is said to intimidate the council members from the Civil Contract. We did not fear during Serzh Sargsyan's regime, did we turn into those who fear under Vardanik’s rule? Our senior colleagues didn't fear during Kocharian’s era, are we to be afraid under your rule? Our designers are also rushing to Gyumri, do you know why? All former officials, including the designers, are scared of one thing - the rule of law. Be afraid, indeed, the rule of law will loom over you in your own way. How will you organize the next protest? You should think about that," wrote Ghazaryan.
