Investigative Committee Launches Case Over Damage to Gravestone in Parakarg
The Investigative Committee has initiated a case regarding the damage to a gravestone in the Parakarg community of the Armavir region. Kim Avdalyan, the spokesperson for the Committee, informed Auroranews about the situation.
“A criminal proceeding has been initiated concerning an incident of cemetery vandalism under part 1 of Article 306 of the Criminal Code (desecration of a grave),” the Committee stated.
Previously, media outlets reported that the situation in Parakarg remains tense, as the gravestone belonging to the brother of Narek Hovhannisyan, who is accused of murder, was damaged, resulting in a physical altercation.
