Gold Price Exceeds $4000 for the First Time in History
The price of gold reached a new historic high on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), surpassing $4000 per troy ounce for the first time in history. This follows data from the Comex trading platform, as reported by Kommersant.
During the morning trading session, the precious metal's price hit $4000.1 per ounce, marking an increase of 0.35%. However, on October 7 at 4:54 AM Yerevan time, the price was corrected to $3987.4 per ounce.
The previous historic high was recorded on October 6, when the price of gold exceeded $3949 per troy ounce.
