French Photojournalist Killed by Drone Strike in Ukraine
On October 3, French photojournalist Anthony Lallican was killed near the city of Druzhkivka in Ukraine's Donetsk region as a result of a Russian drone strike. French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed the news and expressed his condolences. He shared this on social media.
“Our fellow photojournalist Anthony Lallican was accompanying the Ukrainian army on the front lines. I learned of his death with deep sorrow,” Macron wrote.
