Demolition Work Begins on First Row of Stalls at Gnun Market
On the morning of October 1, the Yerevan municipality commenced the demolition of the first row of stalls at Gnun Market. This was reported by CIVILNET. Municipal officials have informed the market workers that the stalls, which have been operating for years, are illegal and subject to demolition.
According to the workers, the municipality has allocated very little time for the removal of goods from the stalls, leaving them unable to fully clear out their merchandise. Residents gathered at the site reported that these areas were leased out.
