Erdogan: The Region and the Entire World Are Thrown into the Flames of War - About Netanyahu

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement after a cabinet meeting held in Ankara. In his speech, the head of state addressed a wide range of issues related to social, economic, international, and domestic politics.

“Despite Israel's attempts to obstruct it, the 80th General Assembly was marked by the Palestinian issue,” he said.

According to Erdogan, almost no one, except for a few countries, wants to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu or have their photo taken with him. The president noted that practically everyone agrees that Netanyahu, desperate due to corruption investigations, has thrown the region and the entire world into the flames of war to preserve his position.

“We are very pleased that the number of countries recognizing Palestine has reached 158. Turkey has effectively led this struggle. We stand firmly by the Palestinian people as they defend their land, freedom, and honor. I believe that in the near future we will see positive outcomes from our meeting with Mr. Trump,” Erdogan said, commenting on the results of his visit to the U.S. and high-level negotiations.
