Tarliev Declares About Preparations for Large-Scale Election Fraud in Moldova
The leader of the "Future of Moldova" party and co-chairman of the "Patriotic Alliance," Vasile Tarliev, stated to "RIA Novosti" that the refusal to allow observers from Russia and the CIS to enter the country for the parliamentary elections indicates preparations for widespread fraud.
"When the government does everything to prevent independent observers from entering the country, it is a clear signal that major fraud is being prepared. The government is afraid of transparency and oversight because it knows that the people no longer trust it," emphasized Tarliev.
The politician recalled that the Moldovan authorities have restricted the accreditation of several international missions, including those from Russia, which, according to him, "casts doubt on the legality of the upcoming vote." Furthermore, the authorities have reduced the number of polling stations in Russia and Transnistria to prevent citizens from voting in favor of the opposition, while significantly increasing them in Europe, hoping, as in previous elections, that the European diaspora will bring the necessary votes for Sandu and her party.
