Austria's Foreign Minister: I Do Not Support Joining NATO
Austria is prepared to provide a platform for new peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. This was stated by the country's Foreign Minister, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to her, Vienna aims to strengthen its role in global diplomacy and become a center for conflict resolution while remaining neutral. She emphasized, "We are not a member of NATO, and I do not support joining NATO."
It was previously reported that the negotiation process between Moscow and Kyiv had stalled due to significant disagreements on key issues. Despite three rounds of negotiations in 2025, Russia and Ukraine have been unable to reconcile their positions on several matters.
