Pashinyan on the Agreement Signed Between Armenia and Azerbaijan
The agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been signed because there is a lack of trust. If there were trust, there would be no need to sign the document, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a government meeting.
“Why do you think that only statements favorable to Azerbaijan are heard in Armenia? Why do you think that specific citizens and forces in Armenia express that Azerbaijan does not consider violations of agreements? This is why this document has been signed,” Pashinyan noted.
He assured that no one will ever be able to prove otherwise that peace has been established. “I say, 'Here’s what, people, peace has been established, let us live happily and joyfully, kneeling before the memory of the martyrs,'” Pashinyan added.
