In Armenia, Not Only Is There No Sign of Democracy, but the Rule of Law Is Being Violated: Artur Minasyan
It should be noted that in Armenia, which has been declared a democratic bastion, there is not only no sign of democracy, but the rule of law is fundamentally violated and disregarded. This was stated by Artur Minasyan, the secretary of the "Armenia" parliamentary faction, during the 10th session of the 8th convocation of the National Assembly.
The opposition representative pointed out that the number of illegal political persecutions in Armenia is exceedingly high. He stated, "In addition to those detained due to political persecution, there are also cases of illegal criminal prosecution. This number is excessively large; people are subjected to political persecution for their support and dignity. We should not be discouraged; we must fight because the removal of this regime requires us to unite. For the sake of the Republic of Armenia, for the protection of the rights of the Armenian people, we must be able not only to remove this government but also to eliminate the vicious cycle of political persecution."
