USA Implements New Visa Restrictions

The United States has begun to enforce new visa restrictions for citizens of Central America. The U.S. State Department has issued a statement detailing the new visa restrictions that will be put in place.

The announcement states that the United States will implement a new policy that allows for visa restrictions on Central American citizens who direct, endorse, fund, or provide significant support for activities that undermine the rule of law in the region, conducted on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party.

Measures have been taken to impose visa restrictions on certain Central American individuals who have previously collaborated with the CCP through such activities. According to the State Department's announcement, these individuals and their immediate family members are generally prohibited from entering the United States.
