The Minsk Group is Dissolved as of Today: Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Minsk Group is dissolved effective today. This is stated in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a letter was received today, September 1, from the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Finland's Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirming that the silent procedure established for the decision on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group process and related structures has not been violated by the OSCE member states, and the decision is considered adopted from September 1.
It is noteworthy that earlier we reported that the OSCE Council of Ministers has decided to dissolve the OSCE Minsk Group and related structures. All previously adopted decisions regarding the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict within the OSCE framework have been rendered invalid.
