Trump Explains Why He Is Hesitant to Impose Sanctions on Russia
US President Donald Trump has stated that he aims to achieve a peaceful resolution to the situation in Ukraine, which is why he is not rushing to impose economic sanctions against Russia that could be "very serious." This was reported by TASS.
In response to reporters' questions about the possibility of applying anti-Russian sanctions, the White House leader emphasized that he wants to "see a deal" between Moscow and Kyiv.
"If I have to resort to sanctions, then what I have in mind will be very serious. But I want this conflict to end," Trump said.
