Largest Eruption Recorded on the Sun
The largest eruption in the last two months has been recorded on the Sun, according to TASS. The event has been classified as category four on the modern five-point scale, as reported by the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Russian Institute for Space Research and the Institute of Seismology Physics in Siberia.
The initial peripheral effects of the plasma ejections are expected to reach Earth by the evening of August 25, with the main impact anticipated in the second half of August 26.
