Crimea Cannot Be Returned to Ukraine, Trump Says
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, stated in an interview with Fox News that it is impossible to return Crimea to Ukraine, as well as for Kyiv to join NATO. The leader of the White House pointed out that Ukraine's security guarantees cannot include NATO membership, but Washington is willing to assist Europe on this issue.
Trump also mentioned in the interview that there will be no American troops in Ukraine while he is in office. However, according to him, France, Germany, and Great Britain wish to deploy troops in Ukraine.
It should be noted that Russian authorities have repeatedly stated that Ukraine's nuclear, neutral, and non-aligned status is one of the main conditions for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
