Famous Azerbaijani Businessman Arrested in Russia
A prominent Azerbaijani businessman, Yusif Khalilov, the owner of the Alexeyevsky market, has been arrested in Voronezh, Russia. This information has been reported by Russian Telegram channels.
According to the reports, he was found guilty of bribing a doctor with 330,000 rubles in March of this year to prevent the conscription of his son into the military.
It has been noted that Yusif Khalilov faces a sentence of 7 to 12 years in prison and deportation on corruption charges.
