We Have Started a Peace Process, Several Issues Will Be Resolved: Khudatyan
We have begun a peace process, during which, I am confident that all the issues you mentioned will be resolved. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures David Khudatyan during a press briefing in response to a question regarding why a demand has not been made to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to withdraw troops from even one of the occupied territories or to at least return one captive.
It is worth noting that earlier we reported that after a trilateral meeting held at the White House, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in response to questions from the media, stated that there is no such negotiation where they do not raise the topic of our compatriots who are held captive in Azerbaijan.
US President Donald Trump also addressed the issue of the release of captives, noting that he had appealed to the Azerbaijani president regarding the release of 23 Christians. “I think they will do that for me. This is important, isn’t it?” said the US President.
