Armenia-Azerbaijan Agreement Important for Trump, US State Department
The agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is significant for President Donald Trump, said US State Department spokesperson Tami Bruce during a press briefing.
“This is important for this administration. This is important for the world. Although many have tried — Europeans, the French, Putin, and even Biden — only President Trump has successfully brought these two countries together to agree on this historic peace,” said Bruce.
“So I believe the world knows he is committed to lasting, sustainable peace between nations, regardless of how long the conflicts or animosities have lasted. And that commitment is, as we have also seen, based on diplomacy,” the spokesperson added.
