US Embassy in Armenia Issues Announcement
Starting September 2, 2025, new rules for the US visa waiver interview program will come into effect. This was announced by the US Embassy in Armenia.
“Applicants for a new B-1, B-2, or B1/B2 visa (valid for 10 years) may apply if their previous visa expired within the last 12 months. Applicants must have been at least 18 years old at the time of obtaining the previous visa. Applicants under 14 years of age and over 79 years must appear in person for an interview with the consular officer,” the statement said.
