Azerbaijan Did Not Sign the Peace Agreement: Oskanian
There is no Nagorno-Karabakh, no Lachin corridor, no Armenian presence in Nagorno-Karabakh, Azerbaijan is receiving an uninterrupted connection with Nakhichevan, former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian says in a Facebook video referring to the main topic of the day.
"There is an important question that must be raised immediately: why did Azerbaijan not sign the Peace Agreement? What better moment could there be, when both leaders are in Washington, in the presence of the US President? It was the most opportune occasion for signing the agreement," Oskanian points out.
The former official emphasizes that although Azerbaijan did not sign, it received the cancellation of the OSCE Minsk Group, an uninterrupted corridor, and Armenia's unconditional promise not to retreat from the agreements reached, which were included in the Peace Agreement. "Consequently, Armenia is handing over a significant part of its territory to the administration of another country for 99 years, where Azerbaijan can freely use this route. This is an unprecedented issue, unconstitutional," he notes.
