Lebanon Agrees to US Proposal for Disarming Hezbollah
The Lebanese cabinet has agreed to the terms of a deal proposed by the United States regarding the disarmament of the Hezbollah movement, announced Lebanon's Minister of Information Paul Morkos.
"The cabinet has confirmed the points outlined in the American side's proposal," Morkos told reporters.
According to the minister, the key points of the agreement proposed by the US include the gradual removal of armed groups, including Hezbollah, the support for the Lebanese army, and its deployment in the southern part of the country.
