Earthquake in Azerbaijan Felt in Armenia
On July 31 at 00:13 local time (20:13 GMT on July 30), a magnitude 3.2 earthquake was registered by the Seismological Network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia at geographical coordinates 40.17° N latitude and 46.15° E longitude in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with an epicenter depth of 10 km.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone was measured at 4 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in Vardenis, as well as in the villages of Sotk and Kut in the Gegharkunik region, with an estimated intensity of 3.
