Earthquake in Armenia
On July 31, at 22:26 (GMT 18:26), the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake with geographical coordinates of 40.18° north latitude and 45.25° east longitude, located 6 km northwest of the city of Martuni in the Gegharkunik province, at a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 2.5.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral zone was rated at 3 degrees. The earthquake was felt in the city of Martuni and the villages of Dzoragukh, Lichk, and Vardadzor in the Gegharkunik province with an intensity of 2-3 degrees.
