Authorities Plan to Reappoint Romanos Petrosyan to the State Oversight Service
The authorities have made a preliminary decision not to appoint a new leader to the State Oversight Service (PVT) in the near future. According to sources, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that the temporary acting head of the PVT will be Robert Bazikyan, the deputy of the PVT leader, who has become loyal to the former head Romanos Petrosyan. It will be later decided what to do regarding this important position. This was reported by the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd.'
The matter is that the authorities intend to bring Romanos Petrosyan back to the position of PVT leader 'after completing affairs at HETC.' According to the newspaper, Petrosyan has agreed to temporarily manage HETC, appoint someone else there, and then return to his position. This is why Romanos Petrosyan has transferred his most trusted people from PVT to HETC to gain control of the situation, make personnel changes, and return to his position.
'However, it is not ruled out that if the situation becomes 'heated' at HETC, Petrosyan may stay in that position for a longer time, and PVT might remain without a leader,' the newspaper wrote.
