Soldier from Russian Military Base Hospitalized with Gunshot Wound to Head
Yesterday at around 18:30, a 23-year-old soldier from the Russian 102nd military base was transferred to the "Gyumri" medical center with a gunshot wound to the head.
The deputy director of the "Gyumri" medical center, Armen Khachatryan, told Azatutyun that the Russian soldier has undergone surgery, but his condition remains extremely critical.
It remains unclear under what circumstances the soldier sustained the gunshot injury within the territory of the military base. This will likely be investigated by the Russian authorities.
