Israel Strikes Two More Nuclear Sites in Iran

The Israel Defense Forces have struck nuclear facilities located in three cities across Iran, according to local media and the Israeli military. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The first attack targeted facilities in the city of Arak, situated in the central part of the country. There, a nuclear complex exists, including a heavy water plant. Israel claims that it has attacked a non-operational nuclear reactor.

“The Israeli Air Force bombed the ‘Arak’ heavy water reactor this morning, including the reactor's protective structure, which is a key component in the production of plutonium,” stated the Israel Defense Forces in a communiqué.

The heavy water reactor area in Khondab was also targeted. According to IRIB, two missiles struck the site, while several more were intercepted by air defense systems. The facility had been evacuated in advance, and there is no threat of leakage.

Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces also announced that they hit the Natanz facility, where nuclear weapons are allegedly being developed. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has confirmed the reports of the strikes and informed the International Atomic Energy Agency.
