Jalal Harutyunyan's Verdict Remains Unchanged, Sentenced to 5.5 Years in Prison
Jalal Harutyunyan's verdict has remained unchanged. The former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army will be imprisoned for 5.5 years. The Court of Appeals, under the presidency of Judge Mkhitar Papoyan, recently announced its decision regarding the case of the death of 20 servicemen from the 'Tsori D-20' division during the 44-day war.
The court upheld the decision of the Syunik Regional Court.
It is worth noting that the court had sentenced the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Jalal Harutyunyan, to 5.5 years in prison. His lawyers had filed appeals against the ruling.
