‘Ajapnyak’ Station Will Be Built,” Says Avinyan
“The new project for the Ajapnyak metro station, which is perhaps one of the most complex projects in the history of independent Armenia, if not the most complex, has undergone a comprehensive review. Almost seven months have been spent on this,” said Mayor Tigran Avinyan during the joint session of the National Assembly committees discussing the execution of the 2024 budget.
“We must also understand that the state has not undertaken a project of this magnitude for 40 years. I can say confidently and without hesitation: the metro station ‘Ajapnyak’ will be built. We just need to organize the construction competition wisely and allocate the necessary funding, and then we can proceed with the technical competition. I believe we have passed the most difficult phase,” Avinyan noted.
