City Hall to Appeal Court Decision on Red Lines
The City Hall will appeal the court's decision regarding the parking fees for red lines. This was announced by the press secretary of the Mayor of Yerevan, Haik Kostanyan.
Kostanyan noted that the council made this decision for the purpose of unloading the city center. "Yes, that cost has forced a lot of drivers to park as little as possible in the center and not to purchase annual packages considering the price. From that perspective, there is some unload. When the dedicated lanes for buses increase, the effectiveness of raising the tariffs for red lines will become visible," he said.
