There Cannot Be 'Western Azerbaijan' in the Territory of the Republic of Armenia – Pashinyan
In recent years, Azerbaijan has started to consider approximately 60 percent of the sovereign territory of Armenia as 'Western Azerbaijan'. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the second international forum 'Yerevan Dialogue'.
‘We have repeatedly stated that there cannot be 'Western Azerbaijan' in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. If the Constitutional Court decides that the peace treaty is not in line with our Constitution, then I will initiate constitutional amendments,’ Pashinyan noted.
