Hamas: It is Useless to Continue Ceasefire Negotiations
The Palestinian Hamas movement believes that it is pointless to continue ceasefire negotiations with Israel as long as the conflict and the blockade of the enclave persist. This was stated by a member of the movement's political bureau, Bassem Naim.
"It is meaningless to negotiate or discuss new proposals for a ceasefire while the war of hunger and the war of destruction continues in Gaza," he noted. Naim urged the international community to exert pressure on the Israeli authorities to "put an end to the killings and crimes that lead to hunger and thirst."
