Earthquake in Armenia
On March 21, at 05:03 local time (01:03 GMT), a 3.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded by the seismic network of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations at geographical coordinates of 40.90° north latitude and 44.27° east longitude, 8 km north of the city of Spitak, at a depth of 10 km. The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral area reached 5 points on the Richter scale.
The earthquake was felt with an intensity of 4 points in the Lori region, 3-4 points in the Shirak region, and 2-3 points in the Aragatsotn region.
