Two Hospital Directors to be Dismissed
The director of the National Center for Oncology, Narek Manukyan, and the director of the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, Arman Hovakimyan, will be dismissed from their positions. This was reported by News.am, citing its sources.
Yesterday, they were asked to submit their resignation letters at the Ministry of Health. The reason for the dismissals is related to "donations" made by patients, which have recently come to light.
According to the outlet's sources, Narek Zeynalanyan, the former chairman of the National Assembly’s Health Committee, is expected to be appointed as the new director of the St. Grigor Lusavorich Center.
In an interview with the outlet, Narek Manukyan stated that he has not been dismissed from his position. “I have not been dismissed, nor have I submitted a resignation letter,” he said.
