The publication states that Trump expressed his views on this matter to Putin. During negotiations held in Saudi Arabia, senior officials from Trump's administration discussed this issue with their Russian counterparts.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that they will do everything possible to resolve the issues through negotiations. 'Russia believes that the U.S. and Iran should resolve all issues through negotiations, and Moscow is ready to do everything possible to achieve that,' he said.
