Healthcare Workers Assaulted Under the Influence of Alcohol: Details of the Incident

On February 24, at 11:45 PM, a man called the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reporting that unknown individuals were assaulting ambulance personnel on Leo Street. This was stated by the RA Police.

"The call was forwarded to the Patrol Service and the Central Community Police Department. The patrol officers arrested and took two individuals, a 37-year-old from Armavir and a 20-year-old from Metsamor, to the police station," the statement said.

It was revealed that the men had called for an ambulance due to feeling unwell under the influence of alcohol and had gotten into a dispute with the staff members.

During the personal search of the 37-year-old man, two packages weighing over 6 grams of a greenish substance and a piece of the greenish substance were discovered. The 20-year-old from Metsamor was found to possess a greenish substance during his personal search. The prepared documents have been submitted to the investigative body.
