Court Limits Edgar Ghazaryan's Speech
The court has restricted the speech of public and political figure Edgar Ghazaryan by applying administrative supervision. This was announced by lawyer Ruben Melikyan after the court session.
“Edgar Ghazaryan does not have the right to express public opinions about judges, investigators, and prosecutors until the case is concluded,” he stated.
According to Melikyan, the absurdity is that Edgar Ghazaryan can no longer say, for instance, that Vahe Grigoryan was elected as vice president of the Constitutional Court illegitimately, and for such an opinion, Edgar Ghazaryan could be imprisoned.
It is noteworthy that Edgar Ghazaryan has been charged, which implies a potential sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
