Fifteen Bus Drivers Dismissed in February
In February, 15 drivers were dismissed from their positions. This information was shared with reporters by Gegham Asatryan, the spokesperson for the Yerevan Bus Company.
The dismissals occurred both at the request of the drivers themselves and through disciplinary proceedings. A driver received a reprimand due to an incident that took place on route 48 on February 17.
In response to journalists' inquiries about whether there is a shortage of drivers, as a recruitment announcement is currently posted, Asatryan stated, “One was dismissed at their own request, another was let go through disciplinary action, but there is no significant vacancy in terms of the dismissed drivers. The recruitment announcement is present because we continue to replenish our reserves.”
