Olaf Scholz on Trump and Putin's Conversation

Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz considers it appropriate that Russian President Vladimir Putin and White House Chief Donald Trump had a phone conversation. The politician stated this to reporters in Berlin, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"What President Trump and the Russian President spoke about yesterday is correct," noted the Chancellor. Scholz also recalled that he had spoken with the Russian President several times in the past. The German Chancellor emphasized that he agrees with Trump that the conflict in Ukraine should be brought to an end as soon as possible.
