Details on the Phone Conversation Between Pashinyan and Putin
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, clarified the situation regarding Armenia's recent actions in the context of relations with the European Union during a phone call with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The Russian leader provided relevant comments and assessments. This information was reported by the Kremlin.
It is noted that the conversation took place at the initiative of the Armenian side.
“In continuation of the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council held in December 2024, several pressing issues regarding the further deepening of integration cooperation were discussed, primarily in the energy sector. Significant practical benefits from the joint work carried out within the framework of the EAEU for the Armenian economy were registered,” the statement said.
It should be noted that the Armenian government had previously reported about the conversation.
