Iran's Foreign Minister Plans to Visit Russia
Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has stated to the Qatari publication Al Araby Al Jadeed that he plans to visit Russia to discuss the situation in Syria. This is reported by TASS.
The head of the foreign policy department did not specify when and in what format the visit will take place, but emphasized that the "collapse of the Astana process" is a concern for the Iranian authorities. He noted that the activities of terrorist groups in Syria "can cause more harm to Syria's neighboring countries, such as Iraq, Jordan, and Turkey, than to Iran itself."
