After a phone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called French President Emmanuel Macron to once again raise the issue of sending Western instructors to Ukraine.
“I had an effective conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron,” Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel. “I emphasized the importance of inviting Ukraine to NATO and our readiness to arm our forces,” he noted.
Zelensky also expressed gratitude to Macron for accelerating the transfer of Mirage fighter jets and discussed the possibilities of strengthening Ukraine's air defense systems.
