The Constitutional Court Rejected the Appeal of Parliamentarians Regarding Artsakh Residents
The Constitutional Court of Armenia has rejected the examination of a case submitted by members of the National Assembly concerning the cumulative pension funds of Artsakh residents. This was reported by Artsakh's Human Rights Defender, Gegham Stepanyan.
It is noteworthy that members of the 'Hayastan' and 'Pativ Unem' factions had approached the Constitutional Court to determine the compliance of Article 8.1 of the Law on Additional Guarantees for the Protection of the Rights and Legal Interests of Participants in the Cumulative Component of the Pension System with Articles 29, 60 (right to property), 78 (principle of proportionality), and 79 (principle of certainty) of the Constitution.
