Former Head of RA Police Beat Father-in-Law of Tigran Avinyan

Today, an extraordinary incident occurred at the "Yerevan Thermal Power Plant" CJSC, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

According to MediaHub, a dispute arose this morning between the newly appointed Deputy Director of the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant, Sargis Hovhannisyan, and the head of security, Arthur Pahlavuni, which later escalated into a physical altercation.

Hovhannisyan struck Pahlavuni in such a way that he was transported to the hospital in an ambulance, literally covered in blood. The police also arrived at the scene.

Moreover, the person who called both the police and the ambulance was none other than Sargis Hovhannisyan himself.

Auroranews was informed by the Investigative Committee that a report was received regarding a person being assaulted, and a criminal case has been initiated based on the characteristics of part 1 of Article 195 of the RA Criminal Code, concerning physical aggression. The circumstances are being clarified.
